Have you noticed? Roses have recently been in decline in the world of Wedding Trends. For years, they were the one and only option. Now, the peony has bloomed into the best selling flower for ring bearer pillows. Maybe it's the natural ombre color, or the luxe layers. Whatever it is, I'm in.

Linen: Burlap Alternative

With the growing trend of barn weddings and rustic themes, burlap is a commonly used material for wedding accessories. Burlap evokes a rustic look, but alongside gorgeous bridesmaids dresses and wedding gowns, there needs to be a balance of rustic and refined. Which is what brings me to: Linen Linen is a natural material made from flax and has been used for thousands of years. It looks crisp and clean, but it still provides a more rustic look to match today's wedding trends. It has been one of my two "go to" fabric choices for years (the other choice being silk).
